Joining ASLA
In order to be a member of the Oregon Chapter of ASLA, you are required to join the National ASLA organization. Click here for a full list of current membership benefits.
Current rates for dues:
Full Member
$335 (National Dues) plus $80 (Oregon Chapter Dues) = $415
Graduate from an accredited landscape architecture program or a program recognized by the Society and/or is state licensed to practice landscape architecture AND has three or more years of professional experience. Chapter dues are required for U.S. members at a cost determined by each chapter. A $50 surcharge is applied to members residing outside the U.S. and it's territories.
Associate Member
$168 (First Year National Dues) plus $45 (Oregon Chapter Dues) = $213
Graduate from an accredited landscape architecture program or a program recognized by the Society AND has less than three years professional experience. National dues start at $168 for the first year followed by a graduated dues structure through the third year of membership. After the third year of membership, associate members are automatically upgraded full membership and pay full member dues. Chapter dues are required for U.S. members at a cost determined by each chapter. A $50 surcharge is applied to associate members residing outside the U.S. and it's territories.
Affiliate Member
$335 (National Dues) plus $80 (Oregon Chapter Dues) = $415
Individual that does not have a degree in landscape architecture and is not state licensed to practice landscape architecture but is employed in a related field or discipline such as planning, architecture, civil engineering OR a supplier or manufacturer of products or services to the landscape architecture profession. Chapter dues are required for U.S. members at a cost determined by each chapter. A $50 surcharge is applied to affiliate members residing outside the U.S. and it's territories.
Student Member
$50 (National Dues)
Enrolled in an accredited landscape architecture program or a program recognized by the Society, leading to an undergraduate or graduate degree or certificate in landscape architecture. Your dues include a one-year subscription to Landscape Architecture magazine. A $50 surcharge is applied to student members residing outside the U.S. and it's territories.
Student Affiliate Member
$50 (National Dues)
Enrolled in an unaccredited landscape architecture program or a program that is not recognized by the Society, enrolled in a related course of study, or students who may be considering a career in landscape architecture. Your dues include a one-year subscription to Landscape Architecture magazine. A $50 surcharge is applied to student members residing outside the U.S. and it's territories.
Free Associate Member
Current ASLA student members graduating from an accredited landscape architecture program or a program recognized by the Society are entitled to one free year of associate membership. The second year will be billed at 50%. This offer expires six months after graduation.
International Member
$335 (National Dues)
A landscape architect residing outside the limits of the Society. The limits of the Society includes the U.S. and its possessions, Canada, Mexico and the islands of the Caribbean. Chapter dues are not required for international membership. An additional $50 surcharge is added for international members, making total membership dues $385.
Corporate Member
$1,950 (National Dues)
Any company that supplies landscape architecture products and services is eligible for corporate membership. A $50 surcharge is applied to corporate members residing outside the U.S. and it/s territories.
