Research and Communication
The emphasis on research in this category is intended to include works of accepted
scientific rigor and/or historical research. Projects should give evidence of examination
of a problem using scientific methods, and arrive at supported and original findings or
solutions of a generalized or specific value to the profession. The communication aspect
of this category emphasized design achievements in communicating landscape architectural information,
technology, theory, or practice to those within and/or outside the profession.
