Planning for Existing Trees Through Construction

ASLA Oregon Mt. Hood Section in partnership with Northwest Recreation of Oregon are pleased to announce a talk on tree health and maintenance practices during construction by Ryan Gilpin, principal consultant of Nidus Consulting. Followed by a walking tour in the Portland Buckman neighborhood. Admission and tour fees for registrants will be covered by ASLA Oregon.

Ryan Gilpin provides arboricultural and ecological consulting services, and he will share his knowledge and expertise in tree conservation and preservation practices that help to protect selected trees throughout the construction planning and development process so that they will continue to provide benefits for decades after site disturbance.

Start Time: 3 p.m. in The Loft at Union/Pine, followed by a walking tour from 4.30 to 5.30 p.m.

Happy Hour: 5.30 p.m. at the Revolution Hall, 1300 SE Stark St. #110, Portland OR 97214. First round of drinks and appetizers hosted by Northwest Recreation of Oregon.
